LAND OF FAIRY TALES

One of the student told us the tale of Rapunzel and then we watched the tale. Our students brainstormed what they can do as a STEM activity and they decided to make various towers. They used simple and cheap materials to make towers. They built their towers within groups and they tried to find some solutions to strenghten their towers.  

We listened and talked about the fairy tale Pinocchio. Students were also inspired by the puppet in the story and made their own puppets using various materials.  

We listened to the story of Dream First and talked about it. Based on this story, the students made bags from t-shirts they don't use at home as upcycling products. As a result of their activity, the students realized how upcycling from unused items contributes positively to nature and the environment.

                                                          the second step of our bean activity. We observed their growth throughout about two weeks and we got excited when we see how they grow.

  The first stage of bean activity First of all, we watched Jack and Beanstalk tale and then we began to seed our beans into the cups by using cottons and water.
