The Tin Soldier

 

After reading the book, the students watched the animated film inspired by the story of The Steadfast Tin Soldier. Moved by the bravery and devotion of the main character, they were challenged to use their imagination and creativity: they designed and built objects that could help ease the soldier’s journey to his ballerina. They created fantastic, colorful, and inventive vehicles, showing both their understanding of the story and their empathy for the characters. Through this activity, the students learned not only about the importance of perseverance and love but also how literature, art, and science can come together to bring stories to life.
